IDL Downloads Please note that IDL requires Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4.0 or Windows 2000 and at least 800x600 screen resolution.  IDL requires 1024x768 if you have Windows configured for large fonts. If you are upgrading from Beta 0.58 or older click here. IDL 0.68 is available as an internal IDL upgrade by selecting Check for Updates under the IDL Server menu in the program. You may download IDL and try it for as long as you like.  The unregistered version will allow up to 20 dives to be logged.  Once you have decided that IDL is for you the cost is $39.95 US.  To purchase IDL use the Register button in the configuration window of IDL.

IDL Upgrade notes:

The upgrade file should only be needed if you cannot connect to the IDL server from inside the IDL program itself.  Causes for this could be an ISP or company firewall.  If you are located behind a firewall and cannot access port 3306 and port 21 you will not be able to use the internet functions of the program.

Upgrading from Beta 0.58 or older.

Before continuing read this.  All divers running a version prior to Beta 0.59 must upgrade to Beta 0.59 before upgrading to a later version.  Beta 0.59 will convert your data to a new format.  If you upgrade from Beta 0.58 or older to Beta 0.60 or greater your data will not be converted.  If you use the Update feature in the program this will be taken care of automatically and all data will be converted to the new format.

Upgrading from Beta 0.48 or older.
